About Us

English Language Platform by Edumig was founded in the year 2008 under the name of Innovative English Learning Centre (IELC) by our Managing Director Mr. Abbas Karimi. At the time, Chittagong faced a dearth of qualified teachers capable of training students as per the required international standards of the IELTS exam. 

Since its inception, it has been the mission of our establishment to enhance the English Language proficiency and communication skills of all our participating students. 

ELP has evolved with the technological advancements of the present day to become Bangladesh’s first and only English Learning Centre to use a digital self- study app. 

It is our founder’s vision and ELP’s main aim to revolutionize the English Language learning process in the country by using innovative and updated teaching techniques that cater specifically to the needs of the Bangladeshi students. 

Over the years we have had more than 1000 students who have successfully completed their IELTS Examination and various other English language courses under us. Following our profound rate of success, we have also been enlisted by the British Council Bangladesh as a Gold partner and an official registration point for IELTS.

Our Trained Team

Mr. Abbas Karimi is the Founder, and Managing Director of Edumig with more than 15 years of teaching experience behind his name. It’s his farsighted vision that has re-defined the art of teaching English in Bangladesh; and today he is considered one of the pioneers of the digital learning platform in the country.

Ms. Rashida Karimi, is a Cambridge CELTA Qualified trainer with experience in teaching the English Language at all levels for over 10 years. Her unique methods and creative approach have intrigued students into thoroughly enjoying the learning process.
Mr. Mikail Ahmed is an IELTS Instructor at ELP who brings a wealth of expertise & knowledge in guiding candidates through the IELTS examination process. With an outstanding IELTS score of 8.0, he possesses a deep understanding of the nuances of the exam. 

Ms. Sohima Anower, our Spoken English Instructor specializes in cultivating effective spoken English skills. Her dedicated approach and comprehensive teaching methods cater to learners of all levels, fostering a comfortable and engaging environment for students to enhance their oral communication abilities. Her commitment to refining spoken English proficiency has consistently yielded commendable results among her students.
